Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from our class!!!!

Who is teaching the class?

I decided to let the students teach English! They did a great job! They were so excited and they were all paying attention because they all wanted a turn! Ha, what a great way to get their attention and teach! I think I had 100% participation that day!

Shopping!

In our classroom we have a mini economy system. The students can earn money for different things such as good behavior, answering hard questions questions in class, participating in class, or for other various things. At the end of the grading period, they are allowed to shop at my classroom store. We did a lesson on spending and saving before I opened the store. I had items in my store that are really expensive and they have to save for them. It was neat to see who decided to spend and who spent every dollar they had. Parents I bet you can guess what your child did!

Math Rocks!

Here we are working in groups learning about multiplication. The kids are so excited to learn multiplication and enjoy working together to practice learning their math facts. It's is neat as a teacher, to see them grow up and learn how to multiply!

We Need Cans for the Rescue Mission!

Here are our Student Council Representatives decorating our box for the canned food drive. Please do not forget to bring in your cans for the Kokomo Rescue Mission!

Look what we grew!

These are our radish seeds, corn seeds, sunflower seeds and pinto beans that we grew in science class. We put them on a paper plate, watered them and put them in a plastic bag. We observed everyday to see which one would germinate first and kept a daily log of our observations. Ask your child which one germinated first!
